This rating is based on my personal experience for performance, ease of use, and effectiveness in the claims stated. Note that I personally have a house with original pipes from 1890s so please take that into consideration.
Do not buy IF:
-You do not have a new/updated, stainless steel or non contaminated shower arm. (Otherwise it will very tightly hold the threads on this head)
-Your water pressure is sort of weak, varies, or if you happen share a water supply with any neighbors or roommates.
-You do not have a handyman on 24/7 speed dial or quite frankly a boyfriend or husband who is in the wrestling championship hall of fame.
My reasonings are as follows, the filter has seriously messed up my water pressure for a little over a month now because I have wanted to upgrade my shower filter from the standard “aquabliss” filter that some of you may have used and invest in a higher quality filter. I wish I did more research on product performance as well as cost effectiveness. The filter dripped drops from the faucet for my showers for a while, over about two months to be exact, due to the extremely tight threads on the top. I was incapable as a small-ish girl to twist it off for DAYS.

I am sorry to disappoint you that you are sincerely paying a hefty chunk of money for the pretty rose gold color that I too wanted because it went with my bathroom theme. Some budget filters such as the sprite, berkey, etc have been recommended by my friend with a marine biology degree in place of this and also said it will not affect water pressure nearly as much.
**** is also chemically tested and lab approved, I would recommend that based off of my friends knowledge if you’re willing to pay the price.
I would say if none of these issues apply and you want the pretty color, go for it. But proceed with caution..
This filter its beautiful but I have been having problems with the water flow its really bad, my shoer its stronger water but when I put this filter my water is 30%. Customer service it's been bad
I need to return this filter it's not working for me.
I'm shocked that I made it to 42 without a shower filter. Like how much older do I look now from the gross lead and chlorine in my water? I think Filterbaby is going to take years off my appearance over time. I do think that I will upgrade to the Pro Series and give this one to my daughter because she really wants this one.
