Filterbaby's filtration mediums vary for different products. For all of our products, we use premium top-notch materials for the best filtration efficacy possible.
Skincare Faucet Filters
The Filterbaby Skincare Faucet Filter Refill has 2 powerful filtration steps: Advanced Activated Carbon Fiber and Japanese Premium Ultra Filter (Polyethylene Membrane).
Advanced Activated Carbon Fiber
- Reduces up to 99.9% of chlorine, chloramine, certain heavy metals, and more.*
- Premium high-grade filtration medium to support cleaner water.
Japanese Premium Ultra Filter (Polyethylene Membrane)
- +4000 nano threads that capture up to 99.9% of contaminants as small as 0.000001mm—that’s 7000x small that the width of a human hair.*
- Trap contaminants like micro-plastics, rust, dirt, sediment, and other particles.*
- Premium Japanese-made filtration medium.

All Filterbaby Shower Filters have 2 powerful filtration steps: Advanced Activated Carbon Fiber and Pleated Micro Filter.
Advanced Activated Carbon Fiber
- Reduces up to 99.9% of chlorine, chloramine, certain heavy metals, and more.**

Pleated Micro-Filter
- Captures contaminants as small as 0.00001mm—that’s 700x small that the width of a human hair.**
- Trap contaminants like micro-plastics, rust, dirt, sediment, and other particles.**
- Premium Japanese-made filtration medium.

How often do I need to replace my filter?
Filterbaby filters typically last 60–90 days, depending on water quality and usage. For best performance, filters should be replaced at least every 90 days.

Will Filterbaby work on my faucet?

Filterbaby is currently compatible with ~98% of US faucets with a circular removable aerator! Your kit comes with 10 adaptors to help fit different faucet sizes.
In the event that none of the adaptors fit, we can send you an additional adaptor for free. Contact us for assistance here.

Product availability varies by country and region. Filterbaby ships all products within the United States.
Shipping Regions For Shower Filters
At this time, Filterbaby Pro Series, Diamond Series, Showerhead Pro, and Handheld Pro are only available for shipping within the United States. These shower filter products are not available to customers outside of the United States.
Shipping Regions For Bath Filters
At this time, the Filterbaby Bath Filter is only available for shipping within the United States. The Filterbaby Bath Filter is not available to customers outside of the United States.

The Filterbaby Skincare Faucet Filter 2.0 is available within the United States and internationally to these regions.

For standard shipping orders, most orders ship within 2-3 days and are delivered within 7-10 days within the United States. Refer to the tracking provided for more specific details for your order.
Pre-Orders
Please refer to the estimated timeline on the product page for more information. All pre-order product timelines are estimates and are subject to change. Pre-orders ship on a first come first serve basis.

After receiving your tracking, please allow 24-48 hours for the carrier to update the tracking. If your order does not show movement within 10 days, reach out to help@filterbaby.com for assistance.
Please note that for orders shipping outside of the United States, tracking may take up to 2 weeks to be fully update depending on your region.

If you’re not fully satisfied, you may return eligible products within 30 days of delivery.
How returns work:
- Refunds are issued after we receive the returned item
- A return shipping label fee + $3.50 USD restocking fee will be deducted
- Credit card refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days
International orders:
- Return shipping to the U.S. is the responsibility of the customer
- International customers are responsible for return shipping costs
Return exclusions:
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Used or opened Filter Refills
- Replacement, reshipped, or resent orders (these void the original return window)
- Products damaged due to misuse, neglect, or modification
- Incomplete returns (missing parts or components)
Failure to replace Faucet Filter refills at least every 90 days may void eligibility for warranty replacements.
Additional notes:
- If a discounted bundle is partially returned, the full bundle price may be deducted from the refund
- Filterbaby is not responsible for personal items included in return shipments
- Filterbaby reserves the right to charge reshipment fees for orders marked as delivered

Filterbaby offers a limited warranty for every starter kit. Every starter kit purchased has an automatic 90 day limited warranty. Limited lifetime warranty options are available for subscription filter refill replacement subscribers.
Lifetime warranty qualifications:
- Product ordered at Filterbaby.com
- Active Filterbaby filter refill replacement subscription in good standing with consistent refill replacements at least once every 100 days
Warranty exclusions:
- Filter refill replacements
- Inactive or laps filter refill replacement subscription
- This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, unauthorized modification, or improper installation or operation.

- Subscribe & Save On Your Starter Kit: Choose the “Subscribe & Save” option when purchasing any Filterbaby starter kit to automatically receive compatible refill filters. Subscriptions refills are available on all Filterbaby starter kit purchases.
- Already Have A Filterbaby Starter Kit? Enroll For A Refill-Only Subscriptions: Already have a kit? You can also subscribe directly to any refill filter. Just make sure the refill matches your device before checking out. Shop all refills here.
