Filterbaby makes water filters for skin and hair health. The brand is growing 100% YoY, the unit economics work, and paid social is the growth engine. We're scaling Meta spend aggressively, with ambitions to expand into TikTok, live shopping, and social commerce. We need the person who owns the creative machine that feeds it all.

The role

You own the entire upstream creative pipeline - from performance insight to brief to finished asset - and you're accountable for the creative velocity and quality that lets media buyers scale with confidence.

You're not managing ad campaigns. You're building the system that produces winning creative, at the right pace, with the right guardrails, with an initial focus on Meta.

What you will do

Creative strategy & production

  • Run the weekly creative operating rhythm: performance review, diagnostics, concept briefing, and production coordination across Meta and eventually TikTok and emerging channels
  • Own the editorial calendar and intake process. Ensure structural diversity - distinct personas, problem frames, emotional angles - not cosmetic variants of the same idea
  • Write or approve every brief. Decide net-new vs. iterations. The media buyer should never ask "where's the creative?"

Talent, vendors & whitelisting

  • Build and manage a roster of UGC creators, influencers, editors, and designers. Set clear standards and give diagnostic feedback - not just "this didn't work" but why, and what to fix
  • Optimize in-house vs. outsourced mix. Manage vendor and agency relationships for cost-effective, high-quality delivery
  • Build a scalable whitelisting program: identify, sign, onboard, and manage creators whose accounts run Filterbaby ads. Track performance vs. brand-account and feed insights back into production

Brand governance & QA

  • Build a pre-launch QA system: no ad reaches the upload queue with LP misalignment, copy errors, broken links, missing licenses, or off-brand creative
  • Own licensing and rights management for all assets. Custodian of Filterbaby's visual brand as velocity scales

Performance analysis & cross-functional intelligence

  • Analyze creative exports weekly. Translate data into actions: pause, iterate, scale, or investigate. Build a learnings log that compounds - pattern recognition should be institutional, not tribal
  • Surface customer sentiment, objections, and language from ad engagement. Feed insights into brand strategy, product innovation, merchandising, and landing page decisions

CX, DM automation & cross-channel

  • Build systems for CX to monitor ad engagement in real time. Design DM automation workflows (ManyChat or equivalent) to capture interest and route prospects toward conversion
  • Evaluate which Meta winners travel to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, demand gen, AppLovin, live shopping, and emerging platforms. Build adaptation guidelines so concepts get repurposed - not rebuilt

AI & innovation

  • Champion AI across the creative function: ideation, scripting, analysis, workflow automation. Stay current on platforms and tools. Push the team forward

What you bring

  • 5+ years in performance creative production or creative strategy at a DTC brand. Nice to have: experience with D2C subscription businesses, ideally in beauty or wellness
  • 3+ years managing creative talent - creators, editors, designers, influencers - with a track record of building high-performing teams
  • Data fluency. You read an ads export and see the story: what's working, what's dying, where the funnel leaks, and what to brief next
  • Deep understanding of Meta's creative-led delivery model and why structural diversity matters
  • Experience with whitelisting programs, creator partnership economics, and DM automation tools (ManyChat or similar)
  • TikTok, live shopping, social commerce, and cross-channel experience is a strong plus
  • Direct ad account management is a bonus, not a requirement. This role produces creative for media buyers - it doesn't run campaigns
  • Bias toward action. AI-curious. Systems thinker. You'd rather build a process that produces 3 winners a month consistently than get lucky with 1 viral ad

What success looks like

First 60 days
You've audited the full creative portfolio, mapped structural gaps, met every creator and editor, and internalized the decision framework. Weekly creative rhythm is running. Pre-launch QA is catching errors. Creative diversity has visibly increased. Learnings are flowing cross-functionally.
Ongoing
The account has enough high-quality creative to support spend increases without breaking efficiency. Fatigue is caught early. Winners are repurposed cross-channel. Every week of new ads tested outperforms the last testing cycle incrementally.
