Open the filter housing cap and check to ensure that the refill is inserted in the housing cap and in the "lock" place. The housing cap is inserted into the back of the Filterbaby and closed tight. Excessively dirty water / highly turbid water: If your water is excessively dirty with physical contaminants or is highly turbid, your filter refill is working overtime to capture up to 99.9% of physical contaminants as small as 0.000001mm!
